Swiss Derungs lights for operating theatres and consulting rooms

All lights in this category are manufactured by the Swiss company Derungs Licht AG. The TRIANGO range covers surgical and treatment lights with an intensity from 80,000 lux (TRIANGO 80) to 130,000 lux at 1 m (TRIANGO 130); the Duo versions have two light heads for two treatment areas. The TRIANGO 60 is intended for minor procedures.

For consulting and examination rooms there are the compact VISIANO 10 and VISIANO 20 lights (50,000 and 60,000 lux at 0.5 m) and the HALUX N30 and N50 examination lights. For dermatology and other specialties where fine detail must be visible, we offer OPTICLUX illuminated magnifiers and the OPTICLUX hand handheld lamp.

How to choose a surgical or examination light

• Illuminance – when comparing, check the distance at which it is stated (surgical lights are specified at 1 m, examination lights usually at 0.5 m).
• Colour rendering – a Ra index above 95 (for example TRIANGO 100) shows the colour of tissue faithfully.
• Light field size and depth – the TRIANGO 100 has a light field 18 cm in diameter and a depth of illumination of 120 cm.
• Number of light heads – Duo versions illuminate two sites at once, or one site from two sides with fewer shadows.
• Mounting – ceiling, wall or mobile stand, depending on the version and the room layout.
