About the device

The T-piece delivers a precisely set peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) and a constant positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP), which helps to open the lungs and keep them open, particularly when resuscitating premature infants. Unlike with a self-inflating bag, the pressure is the same with every breath.

The resuscitator needs no electricity; it is powered by compressed gas. It is suitable for delivery rooms, neonatal ICUs and transport. According to the manufacturer, it is designed in line with the AAP (NRP) and ILCOR recommendations.
