The YP-3100B combines a closed incubator and an open infant warmer. A single device thus serves for incubation, first aid and neonatal monitoring.
Incubator
Warm air flows out at the front and rear and returns along the sides. Humidity is generated by high-temperature evaporation of water in a transparent reservoir at the front, which kills most common pathogenic bacteria. The fan is driven by a brushless DC motor.
Infant warmer
The radiant heater concentrates heat on a smaller area, so the mattress is warmed evenly. APGAR and CPR timers assist during resuscitation.
